Zika travel notice issued in Florida

More than 1,650 cases of Zika have been reported so far in United States with 14 new cases confirmed in Miami, Florida. The Canadian Public Health Agency has advised pregnant women who visit the southern state to get checked for the virus. So far 180 cases of the virus have been reported in Canada with the majority resulting from intercourse with an infected individual.

Bike Lane Installation to improve traffic flow around St. Joe's

Starting the evening of Sunday June 26, the City of Hamilton will be installing bike lanes along Charlton Ave. and Herkimer St. between James St. S. and Dundurn St. The work involves the installation of new pavement markings and signs on both roads as well as minor improvements to the traffic signal at Charlton Ave. and James St. S.
